We have the ability to insulate walls from the exterior of most homes. We remove the necessary sections of siding and inject insulation into your walls.
Masonry type walls require insulating from the interior.
Attic Spaces:
Adding to or replacing your existing attic insulation provides an average savings of 20% on your energy bill. With energy costs constantly on the rise it's an investment that pays for itself.
In addition to adding insulation it is a great time to install a “radiant barrier” reflective insulation along your roofline. Much of your heat gain in summer can be eliminated using a radiant barrier.
Attic savings expectations on average according to energy.gov :
Proper Insulation 20% Savings
Radiant Barrier 17% Savings
Combined 37% reduction in energy costs
It is estimated the the majority of homes in the northeast are under insulated and very few have a radiant barrier installed. R-49 is the current min. code requirement however you can max out at R-60 which is recommended by blown in insulation manufacturers.
New Construction
By insulating your new build with “dense packed” cellulose you eliminate gaps and cracks left by traditional fiberglass batting. When you add up all those gaps its like having a window open while attempting to keep your space comfortable.
Dense packed cellulose out performs fiberglass batting and is significantly less expensive than installing spray foam insulation. Helping you save money right from the start!
23% performance gain over fiberglass batting
Fiberglass can lose up to 50% of its performance in very cold weather
